                            Rudy Noël

                         From One Stage Too Another!

Born in Chicago in the early 1930's, to a Prima Ballerina and a Professional Translator.  Rudy's mother was the Prima Ballerina of the Brussels's Opera, and his sister had formed her own dance company in the 1940's, "The Inez Clavijo Dancers."  With both his mother and sister teaching ballet Rudy didn't have much to say when they began to teach him.  Rudy "Noël" Clavijo was destined to be in the Performing Arts.

A few years after graduating high school Rudy went on to perform in short stints with Ballet Theater, The Jack Cole Dancers, and the road company of  Guys & Dolls.  It wasn't long before Rudy found himself in love with another dancer.  Rudy and his new bride formed a duo act called "Nicki & Noël", where they performed at Supper Clubs.  While waiting for Stardom, Rudy followed in his mother's and sisters footsteps, he became a teacher.

With marriage came a handsome son, Nick Noël Clavijo.  With a new son came more responsibilities.  Rudy along with his wife and new son, began to perform once again.  The duo act traveled all over the United States.  In the beginning they performed in Strip Joints, making only $125 a week.  Finally they started to make some noise at the Palace Theater in New York, The El Cortez, The Dunes and The Desert Inn in Las Vegas, Chez Paree in Chicago, The Eden Rock in Miami Beach, Shamrock Hotel in Houston, The Savoy Hotel in London, Clubs in Spain and Paris.

They became the opening act for Patti Paige, Red Skeleton, Bob Hope, Sid Caesar, The Four Lads, The Will Matson Trio (featuring Sammy Davis Jr.), Joey Bishop, Dorothy Dandridge, Louie Armstrong, Jack Benny and Pearl Bailey.  And that is too name a few.

Rudy wasn't just blessed with a son, before the final curtain they had a beautiful little girl, Christina Lynn Clavijo-Noël.

Of course with dancing comes injuries. They finally terminated the act.  Rudy went on to become an agent/manager and formed the company "Noël Talent Management, Inc."  In the famous 203 N. Wabash Building in Chicago, he also started a production company .  Rudy did specials for:  J. Walter Thomson & Gamble McThune.  Rudy managed comedians:  Paul Gilbert, Shecky Green, Max Q. Cooper, C. Dink Freeman, Bob G. Anthony, just too name a few.

Working with such great comedians Rudy decided to open  a comedy club in Chicago "The Jerry Cox Comedy Room" in the Clayton House Motel.  The stage was available to all comedians.  Sandy Barron flew in one night from doing The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson.   The audience went wild.  They got too see two great shows by Sandy Barron in one night, because while Sandy was performing on stage Rudy had turned all the televisions on to the Tonight Show.

After a divorce Rudy found himself heading to Hollywood with only $600 in his pocket and his Ford Maverick.  When arriving in Hollywood, Rudy went from sleeping in his car too being offered a job with William Morris and a job from Stan Irwin as road manager for Johnny Carson and Pearl Bailey.  But for a man to have a conscious in Hollywood, Rudy quit and went his own way.

Once again Rudy found himself looking for work.  It wasn't long after Rudy found himself working on commission selling Jacob's Computer Ignitions.  Then his daughter Christina left Chicago and joined him in California.  To have the support from both his daughter and son was all that Rudy needed.

He met his second wife.  Even though he had known her since high school the marriage didn't last.  Rudy went to a few Hollywood cocktail parties and at one party was Betty Hutton.  Fooling around Rudy had laid his hands on Miss Hutton's back causing her to exclaim, "I have never felt this good without drugs, or booze.  The pain is gone."  Rudy was stunned at what had happened.  That wasn't the first time either.  He came across a young actor at another cocktail party who had a sprained wrist.  Rudy had laid his hands on the young actors wrist and a half hour later the sprain was gone.  Confused as to what he had done, Rudy found himself at the "Healing Light Center.  It was almost as if he was lead there.  Rosalyn Bruyére answered all of Rudy's questions and ended up asking him to join their staff.  Strange miracles started happening.  Rudy's students ranged from RN's, Chiropractor's, everyday people, and doctors.

Rudy's "Mind Clearing Technique" is still being used all over the world.

Easing himself out of the Metaphysical world, Rudy headed to Colorado.  His  daughter followed him and became a Ballet teacher and began performing with the Colorado Ballet.  It seemed logical to Rudy to create "C/N Video Creations".  And so its been since 1987 that "C/N Video" and its creator bring you the best of their products.
